Office is Closed Saturday, Sunday, all Holidays, and between 12-1 daily.

If you call and we cannot answer, we are assisting another family. Please leave us a detailed message so that we can assist you as well.  Our office IS OPEN  Mon-Fri and we answer our calls/ listen to messages all day during business hours and WILL GET BACK TO YOU IF YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE. Again, if we cannot answer when your call, it is only because we are assisting another family and will look forward to assisting your family as promptly as possible. 

WE HAVE TWO OFFICES, OUR OTHER OFFICE IS OFFSITE, FOR QUIET CONCENTRATED CEMETERY LAW ENFORCEMENT AND PAPERWORK MANAGEMENT WITHOUT INTERUPTION.  OUR OFFSITE OFFICE IS NOT FOR THE PUBLIC MEETINGS.

APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO VISIT.

PARK GATES WILL REMAIN ON THEIR REGULAR SCHEDULE, OPEN DAILY,  FROM 9:00 AM TO 6:00 PM, 7 DAYS A WEEK, OPEN ALL  HOLIDAYS, WEATHER PERMITTING.

• Patricia A.   San Francisco, CA  Jun 19, 2025    My visit to Desert Lawn Memorial Park was on June 17, 2025. As the Juneteenth celebration was so near, June 19, 2025 celebrating the Emancipation Proclamation an executive order issued by U.S. President Abraham Lincoln on January 1, 1863, during the Civil War which declared that all slaves in the rebellious Confederate states were to be freed, I decided to drive from out of town to visit my grandparents resting place as I thought about their contribution to the struggle that still exists in our society. It's been over 40 years since I've visited their gravesite. Thank God I called ahead time because I was immediately forwarded a map of their resting place which made it so easy to find amongst a multitude of other headstones in the park. The Memorial Park was unsoiled without litter or debris, well maintained with luscious green grass and included majestic shade trees to withstand the unbearable heat. I was left with a sense of serenity and peace. I enjoyed a beautiful visit. My grandparent's double grave marker was well maintained after 40 years and very much appreciated by myself and my family. I have driven by with my parents for years. I always thought it was a beautiful area. Still do, even though it has grown. I checked out the cemetery. it had areas that were being worked on, as is nothing new. I found it to be a smaller area, but very pleasant, so much so that I plan to get my moneys together to purchase a plot and have my husband and myself buried there. I felt no pressure at all from the wonderful lady who made up my plan. I have no doubt I will be going to purchase my plot. It brought me closure to what I knew I need to do. I was shocked at the costs, it is way better then those big cemeteries that over charge.

We provide a large  size canopy and chairs at no charge to your family.  There will be no charge to witness the lowering and backfill, should your family desire to be present for the completion of full interment, if the backhoe is not in use.  If your property choice is next to a LARGE TREE, we may need to place the canopy a bit further away due to the tree.

All services are to be scheduled Monday through Friday from the time window of 9:00 am through 2:00 pm, the latest to be scheduled.  If a Saturday Service is requested, based on availability , there will be an additional $1595.00 added to the contract for a Saturday Service. 

PAYMENTS FOR BEFORE NEED ACCOUNTS:  YOU MAY MAIL YOUR PAYMENT TO POST OFFICE BOX 900536, PALMDALE, CA 93590, or  you may place your paperwork into our security door, where it will sit until we are able to retrieve.  PAYMENTS MUST BE IN THE FORM OF CASHIERS CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR FROM YOUR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. WE NO LONGER ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH.  NO IN PERSON PAYMENTS FOR BEFORE NEED ACCOUNTS.

WE FERTILIZE TWICE A YEAR AND CULTIVATE THE GRASS FOUR TIMES A YEAR TO KEEP THE GRASS AS HEALTHY AS POSSIBLE, UP ON THE HILL, IN THE DESERT AND WIND.   OUR GRASS WILL BE DORMANT DURING THE WINTER MONTHS AND CHANGE FROM FLUSH GREEN TO GREEN/ YELLOW, DUE TO DORMANT STATE.   PLEASE VIEW PHOTOS OF OUR GARDENS WHEN THE GRASS IT AWAKE IN THE SPRING/SUMMER/FALL MONTHS.
